⁸And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. (Genesis 10:8); 1 Chron. 1:8-10⁸The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan. ⁹And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan. ¹⁰And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth. (1 Chronicles 1:8‑10)). (2) That indefinite country translated Ethiopia (Gen. 2:13¹³And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. (Genesis 2:13)).
