Heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.1 – All things are yours.2 – My beloved is mine.3 – The Son of God … loved me, and gave himself for me.4
The Lord spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.5
Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.6
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.7 – I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.8
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land.9

Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest.1 – Here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.2 – There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.3
Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; and ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching.4 – Gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.5 – This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, … I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded.6

Will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee.1 – The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.2 – Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh.3
God, … hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.4
The first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled … came Jesus and stood in the midst. … Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. … After eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. … Then saith [Jesus] to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said … My Lord and my God.5 – Unto us a Son is given: … The mighty God.6

The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.1
Walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.2 – Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.3 – The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.4 – Charity suffereth long, and is kind.5
In due season we shall reap, if we faint not.6 – Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.7

He that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.1
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another; … though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.2
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. … Ye did run well; who did hinder you?3
As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. … If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.4 – For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.5

By his strength he had power with God: yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him.1 – [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.2
Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.3 – If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.4 – Blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.5
Lord, Increase our faith.6

Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.1 – Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.2 – Lo, I come … to do thy will, O God.3 – Not my will, but thine, be done.4
As he is, so are we in this world.5 – This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us.6
Whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.7
Without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.8
He ever liveth to make intercession for them.9 – We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.10

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, … strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.1 – The kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.2 – Labor not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you.3 – Give diligence to make your calling and election sure: … for so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.4 – So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.5
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.6 – The Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.7

It came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.1
Job spake, and said, … Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul; which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures?2 – Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.3
Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour.4 – In all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted.5

Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.1 – The blood of the Lamb.2 – The precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.3 – Without shedding of blood is no remission.4 – The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.5
By his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.6 – Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; … let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith.7
Ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.8
