In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them.1 – He whom thou lovest is sick.2 – My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. We faint not; … though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.5

We … rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also.1 – I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.2 – Believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.3

This is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.1 – I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.2

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, … who also maketh intercession for us.1 – Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.2

If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.3 – There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.4

The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites.
