If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.1

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.2 – Thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.3 – Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.4

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me.5

He that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.6 – To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.7

Who in the days of his flesh … offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death.1

When ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.1

This is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life.1 – Whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.2
