Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: and the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water: as for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water: and he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.1

Behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.2 – And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.3

Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.3 – And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.4

Fear ye not me? saith the Lord: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?1 – Promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away.1 – The heavens and the earth, which are now, … are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment.2

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. There be many that say, Who will show us any good?1 – What hath man of all his labor, and of the vexation of his heart, wherein he hath labored under the sun? Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.1

The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.1 – That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.2 – Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.3
