I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.

[Moses] stood between the Lord and you at that time, to show you the word of the Lord: for ye were afraid. – There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
