ACT 27:40-41⁴⁰And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore. ⁴¹And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves. (Acts 27:40‑41)

They . . . made toward shore. And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground.

Whether they ran the ship aground on purpose or accidently doesn’t matter. The fact is that they were not in the harbor but were in the middle of a tremendous storm at sea - and stuck on a sand bar. In the storms of life we often get to a place where two seas meet. You may find yourself caught in the middle of a spiritual struggle. You just don’t know what to do. Let the Spirit of God lead you (and He always will lead you according to the Scriptures, because God cannot deny Himself) and leave the results to the Lord. You may have to swim to shore on a broken piece of the ship - alone - but with God’s help you’ll make it and be able to stand up and not be ashamed.
