The Old Testament is full of verses that suggest the coming of a Savior who would die for His people. In many of the stories there are pictures of God giving up His Son and that He would shed His blood to wash away our sins. These pictures and verses become clear after we get saved. Then we can think about these things and say with confidence that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. Can you think of an Old Testament story that is a picture of the death of Jesus on the cross?
