Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go?
Even the Lord Jesus knew what disappointment was. Many of those who followed Jesus had turned back and no longer followed Him. It seems that with disappointment in His voice Jesus asks the twelve that were closest to Him, “Will ye also go away?” We are so glad for Peter’s response. Jesus was the only one who spoke the spiritual truth. He was the true Messiah. There was no one else to turn to. So for us. There is no one else who can give what the Lord can in each of our lives. Don’t turn away.
