Discernment

There is a certain person—I doubt not he is a Christian—whose ready eyes find out that which is wrong in everyone, and he considers this perception spiritual discernment! He told someone he believed his spirituality exhibited itself in the discovery of evil!

Well, friend, Satan is a spirit, and he is the great fault finder of God’s people, and accuses them day and night. (Rev. 12:10¹⁰And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (Revelation 12:10)).
