Correct thy son . . . ; he shall give delight unto thy soul.
I know most of you reading this are not married nor do you have children. But one day the Lord may make both of these things happen. One of the biggest problems in America today is the total lack of correct discipline in the home, in school and in the law courts. Discipline begins at home. Why I am writing this is to encourage each of you young people to never despise any discipline that may be meted out to you (even though you may not like it) but to try to learn lessons from it that God would have you learn. And if you ever have children of your own, make them learn obedience and respect through loving, God-directed discipline. A well-disciplined child will be a delight.
