SEVEN THINGS WORTH KNOWING.
1.—"We know that the Son of God is come.”
(1 John 5:2020And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. (1 John 5:20)).
2.—"We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not."
(1 John 5:1818We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. (1 John 5:18)).
3.—"We know we are of God."
(1 John 5:1919And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. (1 John 5:19)).
4.—" We know we have passed from death unto life."
(1 John 3:1414We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. (1 John 3:14)).
5.—"We know we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments."
(1 John 5:22By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. (1 John 5:2)).
6.—"We know that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit."
(1 John 4:1313Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. (1 John 4:13)).
7.—" We know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is."
(1 John 3:22Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (1 John 3:2)).
