Doing Well

Cease to do evil; learn to do well.
Almost sounds like the New Testament, doesn’t it? I wonder if that’s because the same thing is happening to God’s people today as it did in the Old Testament. That is, we become so occupied with making our place in society that we become corrupted and forget that God’s purpose in leaving us here after we become Christians is to spread the gospel message and to do kind things for others. As the Apostle Paul wrote in one of his epistles, “let us not be weary in well doing.”
