Post camel of the East, usually the one-humped species, as distinguished from the two-humped, or Bactrian, camel (1 Kings 4:28²⁸Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge. (1 Kings 4:28); Isa. 60:6⁶The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the Lord.
