1. Son of Helon, and leader of the tribe of Zebulun at the time of the census being taken at Sinai (Num. 1:9⁹Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon. (Numbers 1:9); Num. 2:7⁷Then the tribe of Zebulun: and Eliab the son of Helon shall be captain of the children of Zebulun. (Numbers 2:7); Num. 7:24,29²⁴On the third day Eliab the son of Helon, prince of the children of Zebulun, did offer: (Numbers 7:24)
²⁹And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Eliab the son of Helon. (Numbers 7:29); Num. 10:16¹⁶And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon. (Numbers 10:16)).

2. Son of Pallu, a Reubenite, and father of Dathan and Abiram (Num. 16:1,12¹Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: (Numbers 16:1)
¹²And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up: (Numbers 16:12); Num. 26:8-9⁸And the sons of Pallu; Eliab. ⁹And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the Lord: (Numbers 26:8‑9); Deut. 11:6⁶And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel: (Deuteronomy 11:6)).

3. Eldest son of Jesse, and brother of David (1 Sam. 16:6⁶And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the Lord's anointed is before him. (1 Samuel 16:6); 1 Sam. 17:13,28¹³And the three eldest sons of Jesse went and followed Saul to the battle: and the names of his three sons that went to the battle were Eliab the firstborn, and next unto him Abinadab, and the third Shammah. (1 Samuel 17:13)
²⁸And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle. Perhaps the same as Elihu in 1 Chronicles 27:18¹⁸Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael: (1 Chronicles 27:18).

4. A Gadite leader who was with David in the wilderness (1 Chron. 12:9⁹Ezer the first, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third, (1 Chronicles 12:9)).

5. Levite musician and door keeper in the time of David (1 Chron. 15:18,20¹⁸And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, the porters. (1 Chronicles 15:18)

6. Ancestor of Samuel, a Kohathite (1 Chron. 6:27²⁷Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son. (1 Chronicles 6:27)). Apparently called ELIEL in 1 Chronicles 6:34³⁴The son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah, (1 Chronicles 6:34), and ELIHU in 1 Samuel 1:1¹Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim-zophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite: (1 Samuel 1:1).
