Before Abraham was, I am.
This verse is just one example of the fact that Jesus was and is God. This statement made the Jews mad to the point of wanting to stone Jesus to death. But the Lord was there before Abraham, before Noah, before Adam. The worlds were made by Him. He is the ever-existing, eternal, holy God. He called Himself “I AM” to Moses, and He uses the same title with the Jews. Jesus is God.
