EVERLASTING glory
Be to Him who died;
Be to Him who suffered,
Who was crucified.
Sing aloud His praises,
Spread His fame abroad,
His who came to Bethlehem
From the throne of God.
Tell of Him who journeyed
Through this world of sin,
As a Man of sorrows,
Our poor hearts to win.
How He fed the hungry,
Raised to life the dead,
Comforted the mourners
With the words He said.
Tell of Him who suffered
On the cruel tree,
Gave His life a ransom
Upon Calvary.
How He rose victorious
From the silent grave,
Lives in brightest glory
Mighty now to save.
Tell of Him who's coming
Soon to claim His own,
Soon to have them with Him
Seated on His throne.
Bid the lost to trust Him
Now in mercy's day,
None who come to Jesus
Will be turned away.
