The beginning of 2 Corinthians presents the experimental power of that which is doctrinally taught in Rom. 5:1212Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5:12)—ch. 8, and is extremely instructive in this respect.
