Daniel’s three friends had a decision to make that was probably the most difficult that they had to face in their lives. The three friends would not do it because of their love for God. In the face of death they refused to bow to the idol. The king had them thrown in a furnace for punishment. Imagine his surprise when he saw the Son of God in there with them and they came out totally unharmed. God rewards faithfulness.
