Love - not spoil. Discipline - not crush. One reason that America is going downhill is that there is no discipline at home, and discipline is forbidden in the schools. There is a difference between discipline and provoking. A father who corrects his child in love because he wants his child to live right before the Lord is vastly different from a dictatorial, unbending, unkind, sometimes cruel disciplinarian. Fathers be careful. Remember your child’s feelings. Mothers be careful. Children can become discouraged. Love them.
