God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Many of the world’s religions keep their adherents in check through fear and threatening. Not so Christianity. When you become a Christian by trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, fear is gone. He is now our Lord and Master, and He keeps us following through His great love, not by wielding threats over us. If you are still fearful, then maybe you don’t fully realize the wonderful position that Christ has brought you into. You ARE free! Christ has set you free. There should be no more fear.
