What He Says on the fifth seal Is quite true, but consistent with the “Remarks.” He has misconstrued the observations on the sixth seal, which the writer believes with him is no more anticipative than its predecessors. —- As to the paper on the obscurity of which he animadverts, Mr. R. must bear in mind that much is due to the depth of the subject. A popular style is seldom, if ever, the vehicle of profound thought, and the difficulty is increased, if the tone is spiritual, and the matter beyond the usual limits of Christian research or experience
