(drinking-vessel). Pots of various designs, sizes, and uses. Made of clay or metal (Lev. 6:28²⁸But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brazen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water. (Leviticus 6:28); 1 Sam. 2:14¹⁴And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither. (1 Samuel 2:14); 2 Kings 4:2²And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house?
