Our esteemed brother in Christ, A. C. Brown, has requested the undersigned to add a few words in evaluation of this reference guide to the different translation’s, Revisions, and Versions of the English Bible. This we gladly do.
Evidently our brother has devoted many days of diligent research in preparation of this valuable analysis. We are convinced that he has sought to be fair and faithful in his weighing of the scores of translations which he has reviewed. We believe that it is very timely that such a ready reference volume should be available in these last days when the Word of God has been under attack from so many angles. Faulty translations can be much used of the enemy in furthering his purpose of dishonoring Christ, and robbing His people of their legitimate light of the Eternal Word of the Eternal God. “Forever, O Lord, Thy word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:8989LAMED. For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. (Psalm 119:89).
We are pleased to notice the very favorable comments brother Brown has given us in his evaluation of “The New Translation (Third Edition) by John Nelson Darby.” We are in thorough accord with his findings as to this excellent version.
