Forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
To forgive one who wrongs us is an impossible thing to do unless we are walking in complete harmony with the Lord. The old nature hates, and cannot really forgive. So we must let the new nature act if we are to have a forgiving spirit. The new nature is from God. He has completely forgiven us. We can therefore completely forgive those who sin against us. An unforgiving person will not be a happy person. Let us each ask the Lord to help us in the area of forgiveness.
