The Apostle Paul suffered greatly at the hand of man during his life of service for the Lord. He experienced the loss of his friends too, just as Jesus did. How disheartening it must have been for the Apostle, who spent every waking moment caring for the well-being of others, to see Christians turn their back on him and go their own way. Don’t be surprised, young believer, when you make a stand for the truth, if those who you thought were your friends turn their back on you and are not friendly any more.
