And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed Him.
A Man, like none other that they had ever met, had just asked them to follow Him. There was something in this Person that was irresistible. He had composure, grace, love, compassion. And yet He had authority too, quite unlike the Jewish leaders. Was He really worth leaving their livelihoods for, to give up their fishing and become disciples of a rejected King? Oh, yes. He was worth it. A thousand times over He was worth it. Have you, young person, forsaken your nets to follow JESUS?
