LUK 6:48⁴⁸He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. (Luke 6:48)

That house . . . was founded upon a rock.

Unless our soul’s foundation is on the solid Rock, the Lord Jesus Christ, then the storms of life that beat on us and buffet us will weaken us to the point of collapse. Satan’s attacks on the people in our world are merciless. He pours out every temptation and wickedness that he can invent and bombards us with them all the time. Make sure your feet are firmly planted on the Lord Jesus. He can never fail and He will uphold all those that trust in Him.
