French Onion Boy

He writes to me as follows: —
“Dear Friend, — You ask me if I would like to have a Testament. Yes, if you will have the goodness to send me one. It is a soldier at the Front who wants a Testament, and this soldier has no one. All my relations are dead. I am an orphan from Brittany, and although I do not know you, I should be grateful for your gift. This is my address: — Kerberion Joseph etc. I am an onion seller. I did four years at Cardiff and at Plymouth.”
I am sending this letter on to my dear friends at Madame Le Coat’s Orphanage at Tremel, and they will write to him. Pray for him, and for the hundreds of other French soldiers who are seeking Christ now. And, pray for our clear friends at Tremel who are seeking to carry on Pasteur and Madame Le Coat’s work for God among the orphans.
