(2) A Levite town of Manasseh (Josh. 21:25²⁵And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs; two cities. (Joshua 21:25)). 2. Levitical city in Manasseh, west of the Jordan (Josh. 21:25²⁵And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs; two cities. (Joshua 21:25)). In 1 Chronicles 6:69⁶⁹And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs: (1 Chronicles 6:69) there is also a Gath-rimmon given to the Levites, situated in the tribe of Ephraim; but this does not agree with Joshua, and by comparing the two lists, this appears to be the same as No. 1. in Dan. Then in 1 Chronicles 6:70⁷⁰And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath. (1 Chronicles 6:70) is the name of BILEAM, and this is supposed to be the same place as Gath-rimmon in Joshua 21:25²⁵And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs; two cities. (Joshua 21:25).
