Father, give me.
“ ‘Father, give me’ - all that is mine;
I want to be free and have a good time.
I’m going to give parties and have lots of girls.
I’m tired of living cut off from the world.”
But when all his money was gone - so were they.
Left lonely and hungry, repentant he prayed.
He returned to his Father who received him
with joy;
Not now rebellious but a different young boy.
