What a difference when you have found the universal mind of. God in the word! In vain people reason-if kept by grace-there they are, blowing with their breath at a mountain to upset it; it remains just where it was, and the character of presumption looks like madness if it was not malice, and the total ignorance of what they are, and what the mountain is-the only thing proved; but the believer gets truth out of it, and the eternal power of the word is more clearly recognized. 502
