The golden chain of blessing found in Rom. 8:28-3028And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. (Romans 8:28‑30) shall not be broken. As sure as the believer's destiny is marked out in the counsels of God, so sure is the day when the believer shall be "glorified." What is it to be glorified? Glory is the excellence of Christ imparted to His own and in eternity to be in full display. (See John 17:2222And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: (John 17:22).) Every believer in that coming day shall be conformed to the image of the Son of God. The displayed excellence of Christ shall be upon him. This will be his glory forever by unspeakable grace! May that glory show forth in us in some measure while we patiently wait for that day soon to break.
