The Lord hath hid it from me, and hath not told me.
Sometimes the Lord doesn’t tell us what is happening, and we have to wait in dependence on Him before the way is made clear. Have you asked the Lord for something and the answer hasn’t come? Wait longer. He’s testing your sensitivity to the Spirit’s guidance. Elisha, in our chapter, soon knew what had happened and why he was needed. Your patience, too, will be rewarded. Wait on the Lord. He just hasn’t told you yet.
