My servant Job  .  .  .
Job 1:8; 2:3; 42:7; 42:8
Right after Job 1:8, Job lost all his children and worldly possessions in a catastrophe. Immediately after Job 2:3, God allowed Satan to touch Job and cause intense suffering from boils - head to toe. Then for 40 long chapters and several months Job wondered and reasoned and argued as to why this had all been allowed. When he confessed that he was a sinner and humbled himself, God restored everything - doubled. And through it all Job was called by God, “My servant.” Incredible story!
