Then the Lord put forth His hand, and touched my mouth.
Jeremiah didn’t feel up to speaking for God. He said he was a child. So the Lord touched his mouth and said, “I have put My words in thy mouth.” Now Jeremiah could speak for God with the confidence that he would be speaking God’s word. Young brother, before you do any public speaking, ask the Lord to touch your mouth so that what you say will be right and with power and expressed in God’s way.
