Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a GOOD CONFESSION.
The funny thing is that the Lord said very little when He was questioned by Pilate. I wonder if some of His confession was that He accepted the cruel treatment from the soldiers without making a sound. He never fought back. That surely impressed itself on Pilate. And when He did speak, He witnessed to the absolute truth as to who He was and who His Father was. Jesus is our pattern so that we too will witness, by our lives and our tongues, a good confession.
