Good Life

He that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.
Guile is being deceitful. We read of the Lord that He spoke no guile. Nathaniel was a person in whom the Lord found no guile. In other words, a guileless person is one who is what he is and there is no cover-up or pretense - trying to appear to be something that he is not. What God wants is reality and truthfulness. These are great qualities to have. May we each covet them for ourselves.
