The goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance.
God has no desire to send man to hell. Hell was created for one purpose - the devil and his angels. God is good. His faithfulness and goodness are shown to us every day. And it’s His goodness that brings us to accept Jesus as our Saviour. If it were not for God’s gentle guidance, we never would come to the Lord at all. “Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness” (Psalm 107:88Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalm 107:8)).
