For in this [body] we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house [new body] which is from heaven.
We groan. We all have aches, pains, diseases, and various discomforts. This is part of God’s way for us while on earth. This groaning, the result of sin, makes us watch and wait for our wonderful change at the rapture. This groaning makes us sensitive and sympathetic to the many others who are suffering in this world. This groaning leads others to pray for us, and allows God to answer the pleas of His beloved people. Much groaning leads to much grace from God, much glory to God, and much good for man.
