A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.
This is a good verse to keep in mind when you are planning your schooling, your career, your marriage. God expects you to use the brain He has given you. He expects you to plan ahead a certain amount. Yes, even dream of what you want to be when you grow up. But, let the Lord guide you through the doors that He opens up. Don’t leave the Lord out of your plans. Everything should be done “if the Lord will.” Study the Scriptures. They make plain what God can approve of and what He can’t.
