He That Receiveth Me

(John 12:48⁴⁸He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (John 12:48))

"He that rejecteth Me!" Herein is condemnation.
He who hath heard the call,
Yet hath but mocked God's gracious offer of
salvation—
On him the final curse must fall.

(Matt. 10:40⁴⁰He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. (Matthew 10:40))
"He that receiveth Me!" There is no condemnation!
Christ is the living way;
And all who will may take the gift of free salvation,
And pass from death, through Him, today.

"He that receiveth Me!" Oh, not by vain endeavor
Eternal life is won;
One only sacrifice atoned for sin forever,
And life for us is in God's Son.
