Two are better than one.
Being by yourself for anything (except a private time with the Lord) can be very difficult. The Scripture teaches the benefit of being with another. Two brothers together can be a very effective team in the Lord’s service. Two can hold each other up in times of difficulty. Two can hold each other accountable for their actions or words. God said in Genesis that it was not good for the man to be alone. So He made him a wife. In spiritual things, too, it is not good for a person to be alone.
