Now these are they that came to David . . . helpers of the war.

1 Chronicles 12:1¹Now these are they that came to David to Ziklag, while he yet kept himself close because of Saul the son of Kish: and they were among the mighty men, helpers of the war. (1 Chronicles 12:1)

We are fighting a spiritual war. “For we wrestle . . . against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12¹²For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12). Are you one of the helpers in the war? You can be by “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.” Ephesians 6:18¹⁸Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Ephesians 6:18).
