More of Christ, His greatness, beauty,
More of Him to know:
In the knowledge of the Father
And His love to grow.
In the comfort of the Spirit,
Nurtured day by day,
Fitted more and more to strengthen
Others in the way.
In God's company delighting,
Waiting for His Son;
Heavenward hopes and Heavenward
stepping,
Thus His will be done.
O what joy it is assembling,
Gathered to His Name,
Walking in subjection to Him,
Owning every claim.
