Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God.
There are certain things that we allow in our lives that will grieve the Spirit. Being bitter, angry, insulting in our speech and malicious will all hinder the Spirit from being free to work in the assembly. On the other hand, if we are kind, compassionate and forgiving, then the Spirit will not be hindered or grieved and will direct things in the assembly as they should be. Read Ephesians 4:30-3130And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: (Ephesians 4:30‑31). Think about it.
