Follow . . . holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
Here’s another part to the verse we considered the other day. Not only should we follow peace, but we must follow holiness. The corruption and immorality of the world should never be a part of a Christian’s life. Some people think that because God is a God of love He will take everybody to heaven and not send any to hell. This is simply not true. God is a holy, righteous God and cannot let even one sin into His presence. The terribly sinful condition of man has shut him out of God’s presence forever, unless he believes on the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. Then, with a new nature from God, the Christian is able to live a holy life.
