HAB 1:13¹³Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he? (Habakkuk 1:13)

God cannot tolerate sin. By our standards, taking a cookie from the cookie jar after being told not to is just a little sin. But God hates even the little sins. No sin can ever come into God’s presence. That’s why Jesus had to die, to take away our sin so that we could be received into heaven. When we trust in Jesus as our Savior, all our sins are removed and we can come with boldness into God’s presence. Now His instruction to us is to be holy, as He is holy. Ask the Lord today to help you live a holy life.
