Hot or Cold?

Thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing.
We live in the Laodicean church age, when so many are miserably lukewarm to the Lord Jesus. As born-again believers in Christ, we should be hot or cold. Jesus said, “I would thou wert cold or hot.” Hot for truth and holiness, cold to falsehood and evil. When things are allowed in the church that are not of God, may we have the courage to stand against them. The rest of what the Lord said to those in the church at Laodicea in verse 17 is: “Thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.”
