How good is the God we adore,

Our faithful, unchangeable Friend,

Whose love is as great as His power,

And knows neither measure nor end!
“O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” (Psalm 34:8)
“The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.” (Psalm 145:9)
“For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” (Malachi 3:6)
“May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height. And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” (Ephesians 3:18-19)

’Tis Jesus, the First and the Last,

Whose Spirit shall guide us safe home;

We’ll praise Him for all that is past,

And trust Him for all that’s to come.
“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last.” (Revelation 1:17)
“But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.” (Psalm 71:14)
